Joel is a Partner of the firm focused on business development, deal execution, and portfolio management. He is also actively involved in strategy development and the ongoing growth of Edgewater’s presence in the advanced materials, specialty industrials and chemical sectors.Previously, Joel was Senior Vice President of M&A at Avient Corporation (formerly PolyOne), where he led many strategic acquisitions and divestitures. He also served as General Manager of the company’s Specialty Engineered Materials business in North America, where he drove record operating income and profitability. Prior to Avient, Joel spent over 13 years in investment banking at Moelis & Company and CIBC World Markets, advising clients across a range of industrial sectors, including chemicals, advanced materials, and aerospace & defense.
Joel holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University and an MS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
