Edgewater Tracks Down Michigan Sale

Chagrin Falls private equity firm Edgewater Capital Partners has acquired Tractech, Inc., a Warren, Mich.-based designer and manufacturer of traction-enhanced differentials for trucks, military vehicles and construction equipment. Edgewater and a group of other investors acquired Tractech, which has more than $30 million in annual revenue and more than 100 employees, from its parent company, Delco Remy International, in a stock deal, said Edgewater vice president Ryan Meany. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
